Old Utah County Jail

The Old Utah County Jail is a very difficult location to investigate due to it’s sheer size and numerous levels.  It has an absolutely amazing atmosphere and the creepy factor is off the charts. To read about the jails infamous history, click here.

We did capture a few things on audio. It’s hard for us to say definitively that these are paranormal given the size and condition of the building. However, when the following two clips were captured the investigators were hearing odd noises coming from an empty cell just a few feet away.

This clip is another example of what we’ll hear throughout our investigation…doors slamming shut. What’s unusual about this is that a lot of the doors are locked and you can’t open them. There is also a lot of debris on the floor so even if you can shut the door it might not be possible to slam it. And finally, we don’t slam doors while investigating!
